Mr Duncan Leadbetter

Mr Leadbetter is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Sulis Hospital, Bath, specialising in the treatment of cataract and glaucoma. He is a highly experienced cataract and glaucoma surgeon.

He studied Medicine at Imperial College London, intercalating with a BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia.

After medical foundation training in London, Mr Leadbetter undertook his general ophthalmology training in the South West, with his senior registrar years at The Bristol Eye Hospital.

He then completed a fellowship in Glaucoma at The Bristol Eye Hospital mastering complex glaucoma management and surgical treatments including Trabeculectomy, Deep Sclerectomy and Tube implants.

For his NHS practice, Mr Leadbetter holds the position of Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at The Royal United Hospital, Bath, where he runs the glaucoma service.
