Miss Claudi Reali

Consultant Colorectal Surgeon

Miss Claudia Reali is an expert Minimally Invasive Colorectal and General Surgeon. Her areas of expertise are colorectal cancers, IBD, pelvic floor, proctology, abdominal wall hernias and colonoscopy.

She entered into surgical training in Rome and then successfully completed her training in Oxford. She specialised in colorectal minimally invasive surgery undertaking a Laparoscopic Fellowship at Colchester University Hospital and a Robotic Fellowship at Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospitals.

She is now practising as a Colorectal Consultant in Yeovil Hospital where she is currently the Colorectal Cancer Lead and undertaking a Ph.D. with the UCL in error assessment and quality assurance in minimally invasive right colonic resections for cancer. She has also helped to set up and start the robotic program in Yeovil Hospital.

Miss Claudia Reali has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is a peer-reviewer herself. She sees NHS patients at Sulis Hospital.
