Mr Derek Robinson

Mr Robinson is a specialist Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Sulis Hospital Bath. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of the whole spectrum of foot and ankle conditions.
Mr Robinson specialises in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including ankle arthroscopies, deformity, reconstruction, replacement and fusion, bunion removal, sports injuries and trauma.
After initial surgical training at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, he undertook orthopaedic training in Bristol and completed a Trauma and Sports Injury Fellowship in Vancouver.
He was awarded the European Travelling Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in 2005 and has trained under leading surgeons in this field throughout the UK, Europe and North America.
He was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal United Hospital, Bath in 2005 and limits his elective practice exclusively to dealing with foot and ankle problems.
Due to his highly specialised field of interest he is often sent patients with complex problems for a second opinion. Mr Robinson is passionate about achieving the best possible outcome for all his patients.
